Like all responsible investors, we have been working very closely with our partners and management teams to understand the implications of the Covid-19 pandemic and respond accordingly. Our first response has been to focus on two areas: safeguarding staff and other key stakeholders (particularly those who are elderly or vulnerable), and taking all measures we can to protect our investments and ensure business or service continuity.
Looking further ahead, we recognise that this crisis is changing our world in profound ways. As a mission-driven investor, we are committed to not only supporting the most vulnerable through this change – but also understanding how we can learn from it to ensure that the post-Covid economy is more resilient, more inclusive and more sustainable.
